There were times when situation for Shia was much more worse than it is today ... They would strongly hide their religious identity , which , if "exposed" , could get them beheaded "instantly" ...

Now I'm not massively informed on past Islamic conquests, but as I understand it - much of it involved chopping lots of heads and killing a lot of people.

Including us Jews in Medina.

So in a way, ISIS are acting exactly like Islamists have acted centuries ago.

Israel have proved that with power jews are not much better then savages of centuries ago. And we are talking about 21st century jews.

What about Iranis forcefully converted to Shiasm? The fact that state forced millions of Iranis to convert to Shia islam 3 centuries ago says alot.

That was in reaction to a millenia-long state sponsored persecution of shiite masses throughout the Islamic world ... And the Saffavids did more harm to Shiaism itself ... As Dr . Ali Shariati rightly says , they converted the religion of martyrs (Red Shiaism) into the religion of mourners (Black Shiaism) .... Just like how the Umayyads and Abbasids destroyed the true Sunni Islam , Saffavids destroyed the true Shia Islam ...

Chopping heads and killing a lot of people was a normal and universal practice 1400 years ago . It wasn`t something "exclusive" to Muslims ... However it is also true that Early Muslims were much more tolerant as compared to others during that time ... What the Islamists fail to realize is : times have changed and We aren`t living in the 7th century any longer

Culture of fighting against pagans is good but killing and beheading has nothing with Islam.These things are Jahiliyya arabic.

Pagans made 100 wars against Prophet [pbuh] and Prophet fought against them and defeated them.But making war between each other and bleeding are Jahiliyya arabic.One of the reasons that Prophet [pbuh] chose wives from different tribes in arabia is : make peace among them.Pagan arabs before Islam killed each other continual and in very high limits for stupid things.

Being jealous beheading and... have nothing with Islam.

These Arab Jahiliyya things are worse than paganism.

Iranians Destroyed Ummayads. About 600,000 to 1000,0000 Umayyad corps killed by Iranians .

Safavids were very good people.
