who exactly said amphetamin made you smarter
It's a stimulant, it stimulates. Like coffee, it's designed to wake up your brain. You recall words faster and generally solve problems faster.

A bunch of university students take it without having ADD/ADHD and become smarter.

Hell I once took Pseudoephedrine which is an amphetamine-memetic for a cough I had and I felt how much faster my cognition is. I could remember a 16 digit credit card by a glance.

and no continious use of amphetamin make you dumbr and the use of it destroy your sleep pattern and make you prone to more mistake

university students don't take it to become smarter , they take it in short period before exams to sleep less and study more, the drug won't make them smarter it make them sleep less

and well known side effect of pseudoephedrin is dizziness , if that make you smarter and made you memorize long numbers then good for you

Bruce Lee’s Death: Since his death, several theories have been put forward including assassination by Chinese gangsters or that he died from heatstroke.

Martial arts legend Bruce Lee may have died from drinking too much water, a study reported by Sky News suggested. Bruce Lee passed away aged 32 in Hong Kong in July 1973. The autopsy showed that he died from cerebral oedema, or brain swelling, which was thought to be a reaction to a painkiller he had taken.

But since his death, several theories have been put forward including assassination by Chinese gangsters or that he died from heatstroke.
However, researchers have now suggested that the oedema which killed him may have been brought on by hyponatraemia.
"In other words, we propose that the kidney's inability to excrete excess water killed Bruce Lee," the team of researchers wrote in the Clinical kidney journal adding that several factors suggest he had been consuming high quantities of water, such as his wife Linda referring to a fluid-based diet and his biographer, Matthew Polly, repeatedly referring to water intake on the day of his death.

"We suggest that the fact that water intake was repeatedly noticed when it is such a commonplace activity that might have been forgotten given the exceptional circumstances means that it was indeed noticeably higher than the intake of other persons present on the day that Lee died," the researchers wrote.

Bruce Lee also used cannabis, which causes increase in thirst, and is known to have taken the drug throughout the day he died.

"In conclusion, we hypothesize that Bruce Lee died from a specific form of kidney dysfunction: the inability to excrete enough water to maintain water homeostasis, which is mainly a tubular function," the researchers said.
“This may lead to hyponatraemia, cerebral oedema and death within hours if excess water intake is not matched by water excretion in urine, which is in line with the timeline of Lee's demise. The fact that we are 60% water does not protect us from the potentially lethal consequences of drinking water at a faster rate than our kidneys can excrete excess water. Ironically, Lee made famous the quote 'Be water my friend', but excess water appears to have ultimately killed him,” they added.

crtainly not to much in warm weather of middle east, south asia and Africa.

I don't think the people of the Sahara desert carry around bottles of mineral water like the idiot techies in India carry along with their laptop.

elaborate on that and i answer , nobody get hart attack because h is fit .
a fit person can have heart attack but certainly the cause is not being fit.

This madness called gymming, dieting and public sports must be abolished.

I don't have it, but it's not necessarily true.

It's very hard to detect ADD in smart people, mostly because they never think to get checked because they don't encounter problems in their educational lives.

Also, ADD symptoms could be acute, especially with today's way of life. A week without technology could alliviate all symptoms.

A bunch of dumb people do have ADHD though, I don't agree with the BS statement "they're not dumb they just have ADHD, if you treat it they're smart" that's BS, load anyone up on amphetamines and he will become smarter, regardless of if they have ADHD or not.

What is ADHD ?

If you consume enough salt you can't really die of drinking too much water.

My basic training was in the desert and it was 47 degrees Celsius at some point and I would drink 6-7 liters of water per day.

But you were not going to live in the desert, yes ? :)

cereberal edema. because of drinking water? do you knew hopw much water you most drink that result in that phenomenon because of dmage to kidney water homeostasis as article say?, by the way i yet to see an encephalitis case that is not accompanied with cerebral edema

Yes, they are, stimulants like Amphetamines and Caffeine are Nootropics, by definition they are cognitive enhancers.

They literally make you sharper.

Not really, such drugs only have effects for 6-8 hours, 12 hours for the most extreme dose of the most powerful stimulant. As long as you don't take them too late they shouldn't interfere with your sleep.

I don't know how you define smart, but for me it's the ability to solve problems and solve them fast, and also learn complex concepts fast, and amphetamines are excellent at helping to achieve this.

That being said I hate stimulants, I don't even drink coffee, don't like the feeling.

What is ADHD ?
ADD is attention deficit disorder.
ADHD is attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

Naturally it's way easier to identify ADHD than ADD, because they can't really stop moving and doing stuff.

.
ADD/ADHD can be seen in a brainscan.

High IQ can't be seen in a brainscan.

High IQ is a subjective test.

you don't knew how wrong you are on this

that's not the worldwide accepted definition and no amphetamine won't help you on that.

Trust me I know enough about those drugs, insomnia may be a side effect, but surely not the general case. People that take a low dose pill with a half life of 3 hours in the morning and maintain a healthy, active lifestyle would be fine.

Yeah, it definitely will.

"A previous meta-analysis by Kavale et al. found that stimulant treatment for an average period of 18 weeks led to a mean gain of about 6 to 7 points in FSIQ, and 6 points in both the Verbal Intelligence Quotient (VIQ) and Performance Intelligence Quotient (PIQ) [14]. Another meta-analysis by Thurber and Walker [15] also demonstrated that short-term stimulant drug effects could result in a mean increase of 2.25 points in the FSIQ."

Or are you going to argue against a meta-analysis? I've seen the effects of amphetamines. Average people become really smart. Try some Adderall XR and you'll see.

i don't think WebMD ever stated that ADHD happen to low IQ people or it has any relation to IQ
I read in above websites that ADHD folks have deficiencies in brain regions associated with language & speech. This idea (of low IQ people being susceptible to ADHD) was not thought by me.

as you said deficiency in language and speech due to lack of attention not low IQ

.

You are saying the reverse. They have ADHD because they have deficiencies in those specific regions of the brain. Not the other way round.

there is skill deficiencies , i like to see the article that claim brain deficiencies in those area
by the way those areas don't govern IQ
