Don't ask me for documentary evidence, but there is reportedly a huge arms nexus between Israel and Indian middlemen (operating from many Indian states, including Gujarat) for arming and training of local militia in India. The Pakistanis think they are an armed populace. I am happy for them.

I really didn't think/thought India and Israel had such a close friendship. I mean, I know Indians are close with Iranians, and to some extent Arab Gulf states.

Most Indians are positive to Israel given Israel has helped our military, agriculture and IT industry well past their population size.....3 very important things to Indian society.

But yes poor and lower middle class have more pressing concerns to occupy themselves with than Israeli-related geopolitics etc....so maybe half of Indians actually have time to have an opinion of Israel in the first place.
