Not our politicians but the whole elite class is TAX PROOF.only a few thousand people pay direct taxes.Most taxes we collect are from Sales tax,with utility bills and petrolium and few from import duties.We collect only 9% of our GDP as tax whereas afghanistan which has started few years ago with little infrastructure has reached 6.5%.
