The Indian army doesn't teach "martial arts". Like all professional fighting forces, they teach combat. Because:

"Martial arts" are for drawing oohs and aahs from an audience. Combat techniques are for killing the enemy.

So while you worship Bruce Lee or Jackie Chan or Arnold Swarzenegger, military professionals teach their recruits to kill.
