Pakistanis have in general a victim mentality - they cannot fault themselves so will always find others to blame. Often they will try to blame people they believe they consider themselves equal to because while America can be blamed they really don’t have any comparison or power to do anything about it - so the next in the tier is expats because these are Pakistanis automatically assumed to have done better(always put down to sheer luck) but are considered of being of the same background and therefore legitimate targets. In your estimation, the corruption and destruction of all civilian institutes be they bureaucracy, Judiciary, legislative bodies as well as gov't run entities like PIA, Banks, Steel Mills, etc. in last 30 years by Sharifs/Bhuttos/Zardaris, which has made us a basket case, fallen behind even BD, is less of a issue than IK spreading right-wing politics.
