It's a sunat-e-mokida. Fireifghter has indicated its sinful to shave as prophet (s.a.w) has ordered it explicitly. The hadith is present in both bukhari and muslim which are one of the most authentic compilation of the saying of prophet muhammad (s.a.w).

So it gets clear you are one of those guys who reject the authenticity of hadith. Arguing about beard is of no use with some one who completely rejects hadith and uses that pathetic argument of non muslims about the wives of prophet(s.a.w). I hate to say but I am surprised that you have a think tank status in this forum.
I showed through the sayings of prophet which muslims believe are the guide to lead their life. I did not say anything of my own but what prophet (s.a.w) himself said. 99.9 percent of muslims can not be lying. Its time for you to figure out where do you stand.

If you reject hadith you can not perform even one namaz let alone the rest of the pillars of islam. The very shahada famously known as first kalima in our part of world is from hadith not from Quran.


It is mandatory if you really know what is sunat-e-mokida.
