First of all, ULFA is not a Muslim group.

Secondly, most Bangladeshis do not support NE insurgents and frankly, they are indifferent.

And finally, the problems faced by Pakistan and Bangladesh are completely different and unique from one another. And hence, there is little or no point in saying "oh look, Bangladesh is going to become like Pakistan because of this and this." This is a very naive statement.

And since NE India appears to be calming down, I see little reason for you lot to be depressed.

This kid Captain-Planet does not understand the ramifications of supporting insurgencies in another country and neither does he understand anything about warfare.

And as far as militant camps go, understand that there cannot be 100% guarantee that all of them can be flushed out. The BD-Indo border is very long, porous and is not easy to monitor and enforce.

If there were any NE freedom fighters hiding in BD, the compliant BAL govt has hounded them out. It is in our national interest to support these freedom fighters. We should support all those opposed to Delhi's oppression be they Maoists or NE Freedom Fighters or W Benglaees fed up with the colonial attitude of the northerners..

Well it was an important and timely decision to give ULFA some sort of protection. They were against Muslim Bengalis in India. But after BD got involved, were able to convince them that their true enemies are not Muslim or Bengalis rather main land India. We just bought them and used them to have our influence throughout NE. Now BJP/AJP are the minority up there. We could successfully divert the barrel of the gun.

Good boy attitude may not be good for the state all the time. Sometimes you need to bend the stick little bit for the future security of the country. A good example is India. Why they took over Sikim or not let Kashmir go??? They wont regardless.

LOL...what happened to you..?

Do you even know that militant faction of ULFA is all but decimated,I mean literally decimated, with only Paresh Baruah remaining at large. Last week second-in-command Jibon Moran was arrested in Myanmar and will be 'coming' back soon to India. ULFA (militant faction) is done & dusted. They are only deadweight from now on.

The legacy of ULFA is to recreate the Hindu Ahom kingdom which fought off the Muslim Mughals. Good luck being friends with them
