Dishonesty about Indian technological development

a businessman with capital can acquire technology to make consumer electronics products
he can setup a factory. it is easy with the Taiwanese & Chinese contract manufacturers
the margins are too low. that is the hard reality

.
Perhaps, you have some confusion about who needs to be ashamed here for not even understanding what the discussion is all about.

First, let me AGAIN remind you that no Bangladeshi compared Walton with anybody. It was the Burmese member who was trying to seek attention by comparing it with Apple and Samsung.

Now as far as Walton's achievements are concerned, they are not really concentrated only on Refrigerators or Mobile phones. Their biggest R&D accomplishments are from their TV division which has recently produced the SpectraQ LED TVs with the latest Quantum Dot Plus technology, considered a revolution in the Global TV industry.

Walton%20LED%20web%20Banner%201920x600%20-1920x600.jpg

Besides, they are set to begin manufacturing laptops with more than 60% indigeneity. Walton's portfolio amounts to at least 4,000 different products and no other electronics companies based in the subcontinent come anywhere close to its extensive manufacturing and R&D capabilities.

Please don't post such imbecile comments as it just strengthens the reputation of you lot as a low IQ malnourished population with stunted growth.

Do you know what the is "Quantum Dot Plus technology" -- its nothing but QLED
Samsung is one pushing for this against OLED from LG. Many TV pannel manufacturers make this so called quantum dot plus tv pannels
And to burst your bubble, TCL is one who is providing this qauntum dots plus pannel to
Wanton....So come out of your wet pants and see the reality.

Oh have you compared OLED with this? OLED beats hands down, it has darker black, more color full picture and much thinner.

the prices keep falling. not sure how they make profits ?

So again you have displayed further examples of your imbecile posts.

Quantum Dot LED displays are already there for some years, though use in TV displays has started recently. Now this Quantum Dot 'Plus' technology is the latest in QLED sector developed by the R&D center of Walton.

Their sales are also growing rapidly, registering growth of more than 300% in 2016.

lol more Bangladeshi link. You can develop sh!t with your 30 million R&D expenditure.

Bro, these Indians are just jealous that a BD company is doing what theirs have failed to do.
BD companies like Walton have to produce
competitive products in order to survive, whereas
this is not the case in India.

Exactly bro. Seems like some fire burns out on their a*ss whenever somebody goes ahead of them.

Seems like some fire burns out on their a*ss whenever somebody goes ahead of them.

We saw how Walton went ahead with a 6% market of puny Bangladeshi motorcycle market. And no one believes the claims of a $400 million company establishing ASia's largest R&D center.

Coming from a citizen of a country which is still poorer than Africa even after 70 years of independence.India got almost all the industry, major cities, ports, revenue sources, minerals and many others in partition. While East Pak/Bangladesh got nothing, 24 years more exploitation, war destruction. After independence, it took 20 years to just recover the previous position. So you are demanding 70 years worth of development from a country which is growing only for 25 years. And comparing with a region which is the main beneficiary of 70 years of whatever development happened in India.

I'm recommending this as the most valuable and neutral comment in this thread for a positive rating. Bravo and well said!

Please mate, don't pull me into this discussion. I really don't want to argue with a Bangladeshi about railways :coffee:

Yeah better stay out of the argument.

The way railroads are built in Bangladesh is a bit better in our procedures and material used, in spite of,
  • Bangladesh having to import essentials like rails, ballast etc.
  • Our Rail transport's small infra situation and
  • Habitual Bangladesh Govt. neglect compared to use of buses unlike heavy rail subsidies in India.
Still - almost all of our mainline is dual gauge now. I dont think they have to do that in a lot of places in India.

For India being a nation of 1.3 Billion people where long distance luxury buses of over 300 kms distance were only introduced recently within the last decade and that railroads were the sole method of long distance transport, and that materials like steel for rails and stone for ballast are all available locally in India and that indians hardly have to build any bridges, Bangladesh does a heck of a lot better building rail infrastructure.

You have no sad excuse so don't argue.

Well, Walton doesn't need to invest that much since they are not going to build everything from scratch rather expand the existing facility which is already pretty large. Moreover, the cost and wages in Bangladesh are not as high as in Vietnam or elsewhere.

Also, I think you have little idea about how such financing works. It's not like Apple/Samsung will invest all of that money at one go, it will be invested through a series of years. And companies usually don't really invest from their revenues rather by borrowing from financial institutions.

Though they haven't specified any target year but I guess it must be implemented by 2020/2022 which is quite plausible.

Well said!

Complete backfire on what bilal wanted, or maybe he takes perverse pleasure in seeing his country ridiculed so badly

Yeah laugh it up. The dhokeybaaji of Indian banyas and the hyper nationalist propaganda of Sanghi fanboys are being brought out of the Kimono - so to speak.....

Reasonable, intelligent Indians have known this from day one, now it's for the rest of the world to know about Modi magic, Sanghi monkey behavior and vedic economical theatrics....

Dear dummy,
Last year I reversed more than 300 ratings including yours. As far rhetoric goes, post like a decent human being and you have to worry about ratings.

Does the word 'impartial' mean something to you?

If you are negatively rating only those who post the truth about India, and leaving alone Sanghi hyper nationalist fanboys here, then what would people surmise about your senior status and your impartiality?

I was going to ask you to reverse the four negatives you gave me but its entirely up to you....

Your crusade against trolls, which you have complained repeatedly about in your posts, should start with the three resident Indian trolls we have here i.e. Nilgiri, GSLV and Rainman. We didn't ask them to come here yet they did. And to this day they are trolling in almost every single thread here. They have trollbaited everyone here including myself. We don't go in the Indian forums to troll.

If you want PDF to be the platform for valuable and objective defence discussion favored as a resource for credible defence analysis then trolling cannot be the norm rather than the exception. Yet here we are...

@Horus, @Jungibaaz, @The Eagle

Please wash your mouth with detergent and soap before even you utter the name "Kolkata", it is like a million times more developed and organised than any bangladeshi city, no wonder bangladeshis roam around park street with their eyes popping out seeing buildings, metro, trams, decent neighborhoods for the first time.

@Rain Man @gslv mk3 @Nilgiri

Ha ha ha ha ha....this is just too rich....

:omghaha::rofl:

Leave Dadas alone guys.:-)

Have you ever (meaning EVER) visited Dhaka??

My GOD.....

You still did not answer. What Dhaka has in comparison with Calcutta? Be honest and stop evading the topic.

And defensive!! Oh yes. Have you realised, that you started attacking India, and now defending your National capital against Calcutta, a second rate city in India? ;)

Correction dada, third rate. Second rate would be cities like Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad or Pune. Not in size but in civic facilities, urban blight etc. Mother Teresa did not go to those cities, she went to Kolkata for a reason.

I avoid argument like this when someone starts pulling facts from nowhere. Long distance luxery bus routes are nothing new in India. Can't post details from mobile, but I have travelled Chennai-Bangalore, Mumbai-Dharwad, Calcutta-Siliguri in Luxury buses twenty years ago.

I did not start comparing our Railways. It was just in reply to your countrymen who posted some unknown traveller's unverifiable experience in Indian rail which was hard to believe. And then it was your countrymen who replied in standard garbage style bringing s#it into discussion.

I could have posted in a similar manner, but refrained myself. You don't have to make this an intellectual one. I know the constraints of Bangladeshi Railways.

Does the word 'impartial' mean something to you?

Come and see, Kolkata, especially the newly developed areas in the North. Then we can talk. It may be a third rate city, I agree. But it is not bad compared to your national capital.

Fine, dada. I don't want to go into pointless OT arguments.

Meanwhile, we just spent thirty crore on this little feature. Mamata would not even think of getting something of this scale.....

You are forgetting to factor in differences in consumer habits in Pakistan, Bangladesh and India. Bangladeshis have historically and typically spent much more on home appliances and cars than Indians, given similar income levels. Ditto for Pakistanis vs. Indians. This is reality. Don't ask for a link but all Indian brands selling in Bangladesh know this.

Bilalda, I will not go into measuring contests. But I can't resist mentioning @Rain Man here :partay:
