its not about there not being a public safety element, its about there being accountability and having a police force that actually serves the citizenry, and not behave like racist thugs. A lot of the police don't even live in the cities they work in, they come from outside the city.

This is really only a problem in poor inner city neighborhoods. Once you get outside these areas the police are practically invisible.

LOL! This is so crazy I don't even know where to start.

First off our military is all volunteer. They are neighbors and such...not robots.
They are not going to invade neighborhoods because they have nothing better to do.
Plus (other than the National Guard) they aren't allowed to even if they wanted. So are you going to force a 100% army of volunteers to do something that wasn't even in their job description? That isn't going to work out.

These guys with the guns are making up excuses if they are talking about the US military. In reality (just like people from overseas) they see all these news reports of shootings/violence in poor inner cities and think the whole country must be like this (or will be like this). They then buy all these weapons to protect themselves from the hordes of crazies that potentially could be wandering their streets at night.

These are the people they are worried about..."the horde"...not the military

The only people complaining are those in inner cities with a high profile police presence due to high crime.

Outside these areas of the city the police presence is low.

Then if you go to the suburbs since they don't have high crime, they don't have a large police force, so they don't have much of police presence at all, so people have nothing to complain about.

"Defunding the police" and "disbanding the police" are two separate issues. The former makes sense in that the police, especially in the cities, have become over militarized and overly armed; and the latter is just a stupid idea put forward by stupid people. Not even Democrat supporters think this is a great idea.

Every civilized country needs police for public safety.

I'm a diehard supporter of the 2nd Amendment. I think all citizens, especially minorities, should have the right to bear arms to not only protect themselves from the police and government but those alt-right, white supremacists, and outright racists too.

living out side city you work is normal for Americans and it doesn't give you right to be unjust and brutal.

That's not correct, USA army do not march in cities. In worst case scenario national Guards will be called.
