LoL, only Sanatana Dharma gives you and empowers you to question does God exist, who is he? Can i become a God like him or not. NO OTHER RELIGIONS(Abrahamic Religions) Give you that freedom to question even God himself.
It is simply Blasphemous and worth killing you for Blasphemy or insulting GOD.
When these jokers here claim Bharat is not a safe place for Atheists( those who can question) i can only laugh at them, Since Sanatana Dharma asks us to seek Knowledge and Question.

Can Christianity or Islam give that leeway to question the creator himself?Nope they cannot.Since asking such question itself results in death penalty.

Muslims and Christians are called people of the book. Ahl-e-Kitab in Quran.
Basically you questioned how can one person be a Muslim and atheist, my answer was in that context.If a Muslim cant be atheist, then a Christian like you can't be atheist too,because that is negating your very religion.

Correct, but I am not an atheist.... I do believe in God but I am not buying any religious dogmas, doctrines etc and keep religion as a strictly personal thing.

I basically follow my own rules about religion (more or less).

Usual confused atheist drivel, but one part made me laugh:

It doesn't bother me that I am in disagreement with about 200 family relations. Einstein, Feynman, Hawking and Weinberg are some of the physicists who share my lack of belief while most prisoners in America believe in god.

So if I quote five scientists of comparable standing who are theists does that make my position stronger? Its a childish 'appeal to authority' argument and a poor one at that. Physicists are no authorities on God. They by definition exclude anything meta-physical.

Most of people in US jails are there due to mandatory minimums because of the idiotic drug war, what does that have to do with religion is unclear apart from being a silly and flawed rhetorical device.

Belief in God has little to do with intellectual superiority.

To be honest I never seen a single muslim called himself atheist.

So many of your Indian friends are atheist?

There are, I once met a Saudi who was an atheist, this was late night after drinking with a group of friends, he admitted it. He said that there are times when he wants to tell the whole world that he does not believe " and let them do whatever they want to me ".

So non believers exist in every country in every religion, it is whether you can admit openly or not.
