Atheist= who dont believe in god and also a bit aggressive towards theist...disrespecting their god and challenging their beliefs.

I have been openly Atheist, and no one bothered me till date.

It is not anybody's problem, if this author has problem with something that others do.

Have problem with pandit chanting shlokas? Tough luck! He has a natural right to do that, and his benefactors have right to attend it.

Have problem with people worshiping for hours? Again tough luck! Author is not the only person living on this planet. No one would change his way of life because of the author. At least the are not waging Jihad or Crusade over non-believers.

And I do not understand why this author is butthurt over his uncle not cancelling his wedding just because Rajiv dropped dead. Unless Rajiv was his family member, no one need to suspend his wedding just because of death of a political party's chief, and it was improper of him to suggest that wedding should be cancelled.

You Know, The problem with this author @sachi mohanty is that , he is offended by others not acquiescing to his view point. Noone could cure the butthurt that he has because source of that hurt lie within him.

I myself don't believe that a god , or say at least a creationist god exist; but neither have I ever been bullied because of that, nor I have ever felt any hostility. This author has difficulty to be an unbeliever in religious India ,because "HE" is incapable of tolerance for others.

Why? Because I am not in a habit of pissing over others.

But it's not only the semi illiterate or illiterate who are religious.. Educated ones are religious too..
It baffles me as in my own family, some of my elders who are educated believes in some of the silliest things.. I stopped arguing with them long time back coz it's a futile attempt as they come with even more silly reasons to support their silly beliefs and if all fails then comes the almighty "You can't question God" logic..

I am not completely against religion as I believe it gives hope to people to face the harsh reality of life.
What I am against is the useless, impractical, superstitious rituals and beliefs.

LoL, only Sanatana Dharma gives you and empowers you to question does God exist, who is he? Can i become a God like him or not. NO OTHER RELIGIONS(Abrahamic Religions) Give you that freedom to question even God himself.

All Hindu Marriages are done as per Thidhi,Nakshatra,Muhurat,Ghadi etc.
