Difference between Khuda hafiz and Allah khafiz ?

It's actually, you're right.

I took the easiest way out. Don't really want to argue about this idiotic topic, especially with people that think calling god by a certain name is more "Islamic"

It may or may not be ore Islamic, but it is more specific.

That is why if a Muslim says Khuda Hafiz, it is same as Allah Hafiz, since it is understood that a MUslim's Khuda or God is Allah alone. So that is no issue, I use Khuda Hafiz as well.

But a non-muslim cannot say Allah Hafiz.

It's apparent that ancient Muslim scholars/ religious icons believed in the fact that other religion do have right to worship the almighty they way they want and it might provide them a link to God.

I'm bit surprised to see why most of present day mullahs opposing this line of thought? Is it due to radicalization of religion or emerging second school of thought believing in expanding Islam the biggest religion and no other God theory suits the purpose e.g. Christians did same in past.

Nobody calls Quran, Khuran other than our Hyderabad Deccan friends because they pronounce Kh instead of proper Arabic Q sound.


But that is just linguistic differences in India and have nothing to do with Sunni or Shia Muslims as a whole.
