WE had major problems with turbine blade of Kaveri if I can recall it correctly. Probably the weight was heavy than what it must have had as per our plan. And this is one of problem we faced . Which led to scrapping of GTRE programme. So I don't think we might have achieved single crystal blade technology also. But am not sure. It's guess as we scraped our project and going for Americans
