Did Imran Khan party won any seats in 28 Jan election ? No Thread about election in Swat etc hmm

zilch, nil, nada, nought, zero, i think u get the gist!

neither in next election.

Isn't that a shame? Not everyone may agree with Imran's views, but why not give him a fair chance to prove his worth? At least Imran isn't corrupt and greedy for power and peoples wealth. After all, in Pakistan petty thugs and criminals have ruled the country for the past 60 years. This is why in my opinion the Pakistani masses are as negligible and responsible for their not so bright future.

They didn't win because they didn't contest it.

They are expected to do better this time around than their previous stint at it.

He should be there in the parliment. Any party who has monopoly of power would misuse that and that has been proven times and again. All political parties including PML(N), PPP, ANP, JI, MQM and PML(Q) has tendency to betray matters of Immense National Importance over their own stake. I was pro PLM(N) until Nawaz Shareef declared his asserts as 1.5 Lac. What a shame that people know he is lieing and he would still not feel urge to accept the reality and Pay Taxes.

A person like Imran Khan would add to the National Assembly's worth and as far as I know he has very good management qualities. When people like Moulana Fazal-Ur-Rehman can be there in the Parliament, Imran khan could also be there.

I would love to know few who dislike Imran Khan tell us why ?

Why u dont want Imran Khan but ppl like Zardari and Nawaz as proven many times are BIG TIME CHOR.

It's all about money, they have a very systematic method of collecting political funds.

They also get audited by external agencies about their finances and put the audit reports online on their website.

Most people here feel he is a terrorist sympathizer since he has been cribbing against the war against Taliban and keeps saying we need to do deals.

I think he is wrong about dealing with the Taliban. We can talk, but the talk has to be only about surrender and making them pay for killing Pakistanis.

But apart from this issue, I think hes a good and honest man. We don't have those in abundance, so he deserves a shot.

I have seen people donating him GBP 70,000 in 1 hour when he came here in manchester last week to ask donations for Numl College. Does any other politician in Pakistan has the same sort of trust among public?

Imran has only suggested that Pakistan should negotiate with TTP just like the Americans are behind the scene. He doesn't sympathize with terrorists that kill people. He just happens to realize that fighting fire with fire just won't help Pakistan's cause. Imran has also pressed for an immediate halt to the drone attacks. Nothing wrong in my opinion.

Asim I agree but now Americans too are going to cut deals with Taliban in Afghanistan. So some people might ask why can't we talk to "moderate" Taliban in Pakistan?

Yes its easy for u and me saying that since non of our family has be blown up by drones or our own jets. What he is saying is this war cant be win by army as army saying also same. Army said we can only do 10 % of job rest is up to civilian goverment. There are 3000 terrorist who can be taken out after deal with locals but since we are bombing also locals they are turning against us.

Who is saying DO MORE ? JEWS lobby in USA and Indians. As Imran said since when we started to listen to Indians ?

Only 8% of Pakistanies are pay taxes how they hell can Pakistan do well with those 8% ? Just take PPP or PML ppl in ur area what have they given to ur city ?

New schools ? New hospitials ? Honest police ? sports grounds for young ppl ? Only thing they are doing is putting more and more money in there homes

Sir, I think we know the difference between the Afghan Taliban with which US+Nato forces have now decided to negotiate and the TTP that has been brutally killing the civilians all over Pakistan and backed by our enemies. So if you meant "TTP" by "moderate Taliban" then I would say negotiating with them should not be an option, specially when we have been cracking them down so successfully.

I agree with Asim but I want to add one thing here, most of the time Imran has been anti Army and I have never seen him supporting any of the Army's actions. Is it because he sees the so called Mujahideen closer to him than the Punjabi dominated Army? We all know he also had this animosity againt some Urdu Speaking players through out his cricket carrier.

I have noticed these few negative things in him.. it could be only my personal perspective and I could be wrong.
