Behari Qaumi Movement held protest rally against target killings.

KARACHI, August 22, 2010 (Frontier Star): In the wake of recent waves of the target killing in Orangi Town, an area of Karachi, the people of the area organized a rally to observe protest against Government's allied parties. According to details thousands of the workers of Behari Qaumi Movement and Behari Action Committee held a protest rally against government's allied parties against recent target killings in Karachi. The protesters blocked the roads and chanted anti government slogans. Police and Rangers held batten charge and shelling on the protestors. Addressing to the rally leader of Behari Qaumi Movement, Aftab said that how could the ruling party maintain peace in the city as it has alliance with these ethnic parties. He said that the responsible of target killings were roaming freely in the metropolis city adding that the government should inquire about the problems of common people instead of negotiating with these parties. He demanded the government to arrest the terrorists of both parties immediately to restore peace in the city.

What in the news led you to insinuate the MQM into this? Maybe it was the PPP that splintered and out came the behaarii party.

Nowadays everybody thinks they're a qaum, and apparently most people that were dumped into Orangi were of behaarii provenance. To my reading of the news, they decided to form a political entity of some sort.

No they dont..these are criminal thugs who came as economic oppurtunists to enroach on the newly born country of Pakistan. They are famous for their criminal gangs in India as well as Karachi. By taking advantage of immigrant compensation policies these slums dwellers have got rich over right by hacking identities and submitting false claims to GoP. They should be charged with destroying peace and tranquality of Karachi as well menacing racists riots against the native inhabitants of country.

While my family is a mohajir too, we are not adhering the mohajir sticker on our forehead everywhere, we did not come as economic oppurtunists and we did not file any claims with GoP. In any event the real immigrants came out of their own free will without greed or oppurtunism.

It was a positive decision that Pakistan never accecpted the behari disporsa stranded in East Pakistan or else after Bangladesh we would have seen Jinnah Pur as well. Make no mistake about intentions of these people they are mere economic oppurtunists and their pride still lays in Indian indentity and so does their loyality.

They are religious parties.

We welcome anyone who wants to live among us peacefully regardless of cast, ethinic and religion. But people of certain group with certain political associations want to full fill their own agenda by wreaking terrorism upon us and destroying peace and tranquality of city. They are not tolerated at any cost.

Indian Muslim migrants bought with them a large pool of intellact and contributed to development of Pakistan. They came from all states and casts but did not make a political party for themselves. Neither they ran into economic hub terrorising natives and declaring the city their possesion. However a large group of people from certain group engaged in all this in broad day light. They refuse to comply with the idealogy of Pakistan and only emigrated for economic oppurtunism. They are enroaching injustly on the main economic hub of Pakistan, riddling it with crime and bhatta collection, depriving many locals and nativies of their economic right.

A simple disaggrement which sets nukes in my bottom is these people are so proud of being Indian than Pakistani, a country which atleast gave them better living standard than slums of Bihar and express extreme hatred towards Punjabis, Sindis and Pukhtoon. Did they own Pakistan or what???

I am sorry for my views but i dont belive in collective punishment or streotypes however action must be taken against such people or groups of people regardless.
