Diamond batteries made from nuclear waste could generate power

@Hamartia Antidote has already posted this news in 2016. Fourth thread link in the "Similar Threads" section.

I am interested to know how much these batteries generate. Would they replace the current ones in cell phones and laptops ??

8-) Yep like all you can afford a 4kg dimond chunk really

Definitely not 4 kg because they are supposed to power even heart pacemakers.

Also, these are artificial diamonds.

It's the same. Though I don't know how the Carbon-14 is inserted into the diamond material.

And @Zibago @django @Mentee @RealNapster @Mage @Indos @Jf Thunder, speaking about artificial diamonds I had gifted a pendant of that material costing 5000 rupees to a female colleague in my then office in the 2013 Secret Santa event just before Christmas. ;)

Issue with them is what if some psychic starts cutting diamonds and taking radioactive core out...

Its a great source of power and probably will have a lot of military applications .. Use in civiian era being limited by security concerns

Did it help winning her over ;).Kudos bhai

Well, I didn't have that intention about her. But, some months later, she gave me my moment of #MeToo when she complained to the local management about a genuine admiring message that I had sent to her over the office network. The message basically said that she looked nice in that tight dress ( shalwar suit ). But the management was more angry with me about my attempt at forming an employees union for that branch. :D

Hmm, those are valid concerns.
