Sir don't you think their is a difference between sending money to your family in pakistan and giving loan to Pakistan govt to fund this project.......Fine by sending dollars to pakistan
You are helping in increasing your countries Foriegn Exchange but that's it....your Govt can't fund their prjects with that money...

12 billion dollars is really not that much money for such a huge project and which will generate benefits for decades to come.
America was able to build Hoover Dam during The Great Depression. What we need is a competent gov't which is willing to work toward progress. Money is always secondary.

Those you send is used to run country, remember you need purchase everything from outside, machinery , lache machine for building your missile component, spare parts etc etc and of course you need to buy fuel also........

One of the rare times I agree with you. Water should not be hostage to politics. Time we worked out a more meaningful method to assuage each other's concerns. If relations were a bit better, Pakistan could have monitors who visit dams in Indian Kashmir every now & then & be convinced that no water is being siphoned out. Ranting about water theft & hysterical behavior will get us nowhere. Hopefully, that co-operation will happen at some point.
