most of Dharavi cannot be re-developed,as the people themselves are opposed to it.There are many small businesses in Dharavi,and people will find it difficult to work on the 30th floor.Also,Dharavi is close to the airport,making it unfeasible to private builders.

I am sure it cannot continue forever. Part by part Dharavi will be converted from a slum to a residention/commercial area. Government is going to further reduce conditions and the deadline has been extended.

Dharavi has been a black spot on a city with a GDP bigger than countries.
