Any National or private institution/corporation is only liable and has a say in its own matter and jurisdiction, and can't interfere in other matters.

Army as a institution shouldn't have given such statement, but any army personal can raise his voice over such issues but only as a individual pakistani citizen and not on the behalf of his rank or Army.

Correction: not from all threats, just the ones from armed forces external or internal, they are only to guard it's Nation in these specific events
If they want to give such statements then they are in the wrong place they should have become politicians.
