I will never understand these people and their #Rejected tweets.

Like, the situation is such that no matter what the Army does, they will be criticised.

• Had the ISPR not offered condolences for the deceased wife of Nawaz Sharif, people would have been off the hooks screaming that it is proof that Army hates PMLN, but as we can see that he did offer condolences, people still believe they somehow hold the right to reject condolences offered to Sharif family, and still criticised ISPR for tweeting that.

• Had ISPR similarly not made a statement on this, people would have said that all that Rana Mashhood has spoken is true because ISPR did not make on comment on it. But because he made a comment or statement regarding it, people are still criticizing Army for making the tweet saying that it shows that the Army is irritated by these supposedly true statements.

• Had the Army not sent its soldiers for the Elections, people would've said that there was mass systematic rigging and it is the reason why the Army did not send its common ground soldiers because if there would be mass systematic rigging plan, at least one of the common soldiers will come out and speak but because the Army still complied and sent a good number of its common ground soldiers for Elections and on order of Election Commission, people still criticized and believed that every single common ground soldier of the about and around 300,000 soldiers was part of the conspiracy.

• Had the Army not sent its soldiers to Balochistan for Operation Raad ul Fasad or to North Waziristan for Zarb e Azb, people like Mohsin Dawar and Imran Khan would say that the Army is hosting these terrorists. But rather because the Army has taken action, people are crying foul about Collateral damage and saying that the Army is killing their own 'innocent' people who are by the way in most cases, separatists and have links with terrorist groups or foreign entities.

• Had the Army Chief not made visits to other countries to discuss military and defense relations and co-operation, people would say that the Army Chief is not performing his duty and is more focused on controlling politics and being corrupt. But because he is making visits to engage and discuss military co-operation, people are saying that he shouldn't have such mandate and that this is the job of the Pakistan Government.

1. The people who call these Chiefs and Generals, their predecessors corrupt, should be aware that these are the same people because of whose contributions among the contributions of politicians, civilians and scientists, we have attained Nuclear Power.
2. This is the same Army which has been always at the forefront to provide aid and assistance to the people of Pakistan during times of need, when floods or earthquakes would hit Pakistan.
3. This is the same Army which has one of the lowest defence budgets in the entire world, the same Army which spends a minimum of $10,000 on just equipment and gear per soldier, the same Army which is funding technological departments and producing out standing equipment such as Corner Shot guns, JF 17, Drones capable of Assault, Al Khalid tanks and really the list goes on.
4. It is probably the most efficient institution right now present in Pakistan. I ask these people that when there is large scale corruption in an institution, can an institution really function? It cannot, yet somehow the Army is performing beyond expectations.

But, alas, can you really expect anything thinking from such people who find no shame in posting their objections, curse words and other derogatory terms even on a post by ISPR which shows COAS honouring the Martyrs and visiting the family of a Martyred Police Sub Inspector?

It's truly remarkable that people believe that the Government, which has been failing to deliver on its promises for ages, is suddenly innocent while the Army institution, which has performed beyond expectations to hold a position on a Global Stage despite such low budgets, is the corrupt one.

The reality is that no matter what the Pakistan Army does, people will criticize it, should just ignore these fools and keep doing what the Army does best and that is working in National Interests.
