It has little to do with neoliberals and has more to do with loss of foreign medical checkups, travel, education for kids and other post retirement challenges for the ruling class that includes politicians, bureaucrats, armed forces. No one is willing to put those on stake for their country. We are not hubul-watan and tribal, baradaree, religio-sect and family takes primacy over Nationalism.
And even the anti-Pakistan Maududi of JI sent his kids abroad and when asked simply said, “Majburi hay”.
