Development in Punjab by PML-N

This is an amazing thread. Great job to everyone specially cb4 for making so much contribution and keeping it alive. PMLN did some serious development in punjab. I am proud to be a loyal supporter of this party.

A "slave of noora" for desperate public en mass on this forum....I am sure sooner or later we would need mental asylums in large numbers as more and more young guns of Khan would be loosing their minds with every successful year of PML-N....:dirol:

In my opinion, PMLN needs to work on two things that they have lagged behind for years.

1) Revolutionary changes in our policing system. We need educated officers who can decide on their own without thinking about their seniors or what they would do etc.
2) Pedestrian friendly cities. We need more sidewalks, and they should be as wide as the ones we have in Europe and North America.

If PMLN can work on these two things, we are good

Solving just the energy crisis would guarantee them another term of 5 years......Meteros, HEC,Motorways would be icing on the top....But yes Police reforms are the need of the hour but trust me after watching the sindh police, punjab police looks like SSG standard...

Good work , but Punjab is not all Pakistan....let the development cross the boundaries of Punjab. Anyway rest of province also need some honest leadership....

Meray bhai why don't you hold those representatives accountable whom you voted for? This reminds me a line from Nusrat Javed's article
"After reaching Karachi, I had to visit one of my friends. En route, The taxi driver asked me "Sir would Nawaz Sharif be able to improve the situation in Karachi?". I asked him, whom did you vote for? He said "I voted for PPP while my wife voted for MQM". I said to myself," what kind of nation we are, we vote for another person but then expect the same thing from the person whom we don't want to chose". Meray Bhai....if Punjab government wouldn't spend inside punjab, next time they will face the same fate as PPP suffered on National level. Its is the right and the obligation of the people of other provinces to hold their representatives accountable rather than effectively asking so as to why Punjab government is performing better than the rest?

Because we love blame game and finger pointing. Its chain reaction , MQM blame PPP and PPP blame center for its failure. But I don t see a failure in their living patterns and calling wide range of political gatherings.

And the point being?.....

And the point being?.....

Blame game is accepted by people of Pakistan. We as nation accept all rumors, and accepts what ever allows us to through our blame on others. So Voters probably accept this blame, and vote again to same people. On the top, the political parties keep their people in threat that if they try something new it will be very bad, Punjab will take over the province, and you as owners will be kicked out..

Bhai, this thread specifically talks about development in Punjab. Your sentiments are understandable, but given the thread title they are out of place.

ON TOPIC:

I traveled on Faisalabad-Jhang road and saw that it was being upgraded by increasing its width. So, it is not just a matter of Lahore, Motorways, etc... being given exclusive focus. Routine improvements are continuing.

The Making of an amazing Azadi Chowk Interchange
Keeping in view the demands of rapid urbanisation, Chief Minister Punjab has initiated a plan to revive & modernize the public transport system throughout Punjab especially in the big cities like Multan, Faisalabad, Lahore & Rawalpindi where traffic issues were growing rapidly due to increased number of vehicles and population. Attached is the video showing the making of Azadi Chowk Interchange; being built using modern tools in shortest possible time. Have a look:

The Azadi Chowk Interchange Lahore nearing its complation and some other infrastructure projects recently completed.
Only SS can compel contractors to complete projects in such record time.
