Developing Countries Fighter Aircraft Challenge Western Military Planes

keep on saying the same thing again and again.
bullshit is what u are saying.

tejas is far from foc,,its a fact and deal with it.

on mk2 its not even on the drawing board,,,it may take 5 years to even fly and u are keeping ur hopes up??
at least show some spine and call a spade a spade.
u can keep on defending tejas till eternity but it won't change what i have written and what everyone knows

''even they don't want mk1 and its a known fact.''-FYI IAF that jumped on to the Tejas MK2 bandwagon when ADA proposed the variant to Navy as per navy's requirement.

and thats why i say u are a complete fanboy.
navy will never want a stupid one engine low powered fighter on its aircraft carrier,,heck who would want one??

even mig-29k is short by modern standards looking at what france has(rafale-m),,,what uk will have(f-35) and what china may have 5 years down the line(some j-20 variant),,,,and u want a stupid navalized tejas with a small radar and even smaller max take of weight to be on iac-2??

its a total waste of money and faulty planning of highest degree

And you know more than IN itself..LMAO..low powered ? Ever thought what would be TWR of mk2 ??

of yeah ,,,lol
t/w cannot be calculated as we have no idea about weight of mk2,,,do u or anyone even know the true weight of mk1??forget mk2

but thrust of ge-f414 is just 98 kn and with additional systems in mk2 the t/w may remain the same as mk1 only.
also a single engine fighter with low max take of weight capability and low range is disaster for any air craft carrier.

minimum should be rafale m

I guess the nukes are enough for the time being ... we should think about more advanced fighters ..

even they don't want mk1 and its a known fact.
it will be mainly used as a training plane for mk2.

Tejas is a compulsion for iaf now,,they cannot reject it but the point is its 2014 and foc is nowhere in sight.
damn nigga it hasn't even been 2 days and you banned again? you better get your shit together lol

nice article... with average price of 100 million dollars for a modern fighter, developing countries have no other option

I agree with what the commodore had to say. That said, i read the interview in a light of a soldier making a "wish list" not as any official agreement.

Its too early. PAF is the only foreign airforce which has access to the protypes of J-20 and J-31.

PAF is a highly experianced and Professional organization, it would wait till the prototypes are mature and show capabilities our future air power needs,

Quitting the J-10B which had earlier been planned points to the shift in thinking. PAF maybe thinking to lay low and save up for a decade before going shopping.

Ya, decade sounds realistic. Stars have aligned good for Pakistan at this occasion...you're cash strapped, but India can't field anything of 5th gen in any sort of decent numbers at least for a decade also.

Honestly speaking I would rather see most resources diverted to building infrastructure in the next 6-8 years. Build bhasha and other dams and our economy will automatically become capable of affording shiny new jets in good numbers.

for that we need to get ride of democracy :butcher:

Pakistan's defense budget will grow beyond $10 Billion annually in a few years time as our economy recovers, therefore by the end of the decade we would have enough cash to start phasing out our older vipers with 5th gen jets (not necessarily the J-31) as a replacement.

Pakistan and China are in a fairly strong position when compared to other manufacturers in the market and it is because
  • Cost of platform
  • Satisfi-cing performance
  • Complete spectrum armaments and add-ons
  • Sanctions free
  • Multiple suppliers of spare parts
  • Own assembly line (waaao!)
Who doesn't want to learn the art and science of building aircraft and spending a part of their investment back in their own country building trained and learned manpower? No western or non-western manufacturer is able to offer that value and this is where Pakistan and China can capitalize.

And this is also not just selling a platform, this is getting a customer on board.
