India has been quietly upgrading Burmese military capability for a limited BD-Burma conflict that India plans. BD, isolated from Muslim nations and even China, would then have to fall on Delhi's feet. Notice also BD's procurement programs of Russian tanks and fighters. These are of same inventory as India's. And these major acquisitions are planned from Delhi.

Point 1 , we are not a member of EU, hence the embargo holds no influence over us.

We have developed a better version of the radar. The agreement does not say we cannot improve it. Which we did. The improved radar is Indian. India is not an EU member. Hence, we have not broken any rules, unless, the agreement said we cannot sell a radar which has been improved by us and built by us. Derivatives unless agreed upon before hand does not fall under the gamut of the agreement.

Now, since we sold an Indian developed version which was not part of any agreement, the Europeans are free to think what they like. But no agreement has been breached. The article assumes since its a EU embargo, we should follow it.

First, you cannot sell technology which has a patent. According to the article, India is blatantly selling tech to an embargoed nation which kills its own innocent civilians. I don't care what you or Vinod Khanna thinks. Rules are rules.

EU rules do not apply to India. It may apply on Pakistan, since you seem to very much care for it. But we do not.
