Yup.. misconceptions develop when you don't explore anything yourself and rely on media alone. Although Media has been highlighting its positive aspects but not to the degree which would defend propaganda against JUD. On ground JUD is welfare organizations. Indians don't have an option but to learn from their media which is obviously anti-JUD but Pakistanis should have spent time in streets and around in the cities where JUD workers are doing huge welfare service.

That is why I have suggested, if HafizSaeed is controversial, which he is, he should retire from the chairmanship of this organization and if there is any terrorist wing of JUD, that should also be laid to rest. Organization itself is a huge social assert which should be defended and developed further. Even Indian Media should be coming to Pakistan and see their scale of service and contribution to the society. Not whole country is populated with Mullahs and not everybody subscribe to self-initiated Jihad but everybody in country supports humanitarian and welfare efforts and this is the reason why JUD has lived over decades and expanded and prospered.
