Terrorists wouldnt have made that far in Islamabad. There are multiple checkposts in every sector and at almost all service roads. The kid probably lived in Air Complex.

It's a common practise to let underage kids drive cars and bikes in Pakistan. Unknown to traffic rules, driving ethics and craze for overspeeding, they endager the lives of others along with their own. Traffic law enforcement authorities must go tough on underage drivers and their guardians.
The kid who got shot here cannot be blamed entirely as the guards in that particular area are big on harssing non-uniformed people. It's a high security area and there are several levels of security checks in place and if the kid managed to got near the gate, it was because he got clearance from the previous ones. The guard made a bad judgement call, as obviously he may have seen both the passengers aged 14 and 7 years old and not contempelating the situation properly he still fired. Holding a gun doesnt warrant a license to shoot at will everytime ones suspicions are stoked.


In all these insatances terrorists wore military uniforms and take my personal word on this, if it was a man in uniform not obliging the guard, he would never have got shot at.

Dont u think the guard knows the car of air chief.. regardless of how many car.s used by family ????

You can only do so much with a rifle---. Sometimes the cars get away---.

Shooting at a live person for a gate guard is not an easy task---and shooting at a moving vehicle more difficult---.

Footage of the incident, it's the black Corolla in the right lane. The guard was standing right next to the car and the kid says he did identify but the guard was taking too much time, not sure what the truth is, but the kids story is backed up by the video.

sad but good in a sense that all are treated equally in our armed forces unlike politicians whose kids are above law and police not dare to stop them at checkpost.this soldier should not be punished

No they werent not like this. There is no comparison between the security then and security now. Back then there were only handful of checkposts. There were no cameras and no patrols. No rangers or QRFs. It was just the police.
