I believe a better way of analysis would be to first understand how much quantum of pollution are caused by say 2 Wheeler, 3 Wheeler, 4 Wheeler upto 1500CC sub 4 meter and above 1500CC above 4 meter.

Then perhaps we may able to narrow down to chief causal agents and formulate a better strategy

A question to ask also is ask why not introduce say bharat 5 or bharat6 emission jorms.. Don't you think that may help us curb pollution directly at manufacturers point also. This may help in dropping the stats a lot.

Also remove all cars used in public scheme beyond 15 years. Improve the public means of transport like buses autos etc to run in cng.

The radio cabs also fully in cng..

With improved emission norms of say bharat 5and 6 I can see a good drop pan India..

This needs a more detailed data how much people actualy use 2-wheelers, 4- wheelers, etc. and then analysing it to make a more impactful way to reduce pollution which does not affect daily life of people that much. Most probable solution would be to minimize the usage personal vehicals entering Delhi from nearby cities and forcing them to use public transport.

And make alternate path for those who want to just cross Delhi.

He & his party men only make Fuzz, nothing substantial. For few minutes Airtime, he claimed this to be successful and later trying to retract from his claims...He knows they'll fall on Monday, once the city comes to normal.

The Odd & Even formula is not going to continued after 15th as it's not the perfect solution. To many loop holes in it which has already been discussed in Media etc.

If he is serious about the problems - he should opt for Solar Energy solutions.

The unauthorized industries which are being operated in Civilian Areas should be closed which are one of the main source of Pollution. They should be moved out of Delhi (daunting task) - He supports them and encourage people to set up more.


Autowala - don't go to the places where you want to go, if they do... They charge per their will. If he wants people to use Public Transports, this needs to be fixed. More buses etc...

Delhi is bracing nautanki for 2 weeks, nothing else.

Brother, It may be a failure but i still feel a start has been made.. We need more bold experiments and innovative way to control our pollution levels.. With ideas which are more practical in nature and timelines which can scientifically back up what we are aiming for.

All in all a very good effort from your side by keeping a constant update.. Its just Day 1.. Keep going Bro.. We may see some interesting developments over next 13 days.

I had contacted aqicn which is a Chinese firm which collaborates with government agencies and companies to add pollution data. I gave then the Indian Gov pollution control boards website which has many cities in them. I am happy to see that they have added those data to their maps too.

P.s Day 2, 6.00am map added for later comparison.
