Key point here is unneccesary. If the enemy is attacking your country and you defend it it is not unnnecesary
In 1965, India started the war against Pakistan. Before you bring up Grand Slam and what not, that operation was almost 2 weeks before the war started. There was almost 2 weeks of peace, if Gran Slam was a declaration of war India would have immediately launched a counter attack, but it was almost 2 weeks later, and they didn't call it a counter attack, they called it a declaration of war.
Also, those ops were in support of local militants, and were a response to India launching multiple skirmishes against Pakistan prior. So yes, India was the aggressor. I will not debate this further if you give false facts.

We mistreated them horribly, and do doubt the perpretors will go to hell, however, the main goal of Bangladesh was to gain independence, valuing nationalism over religion is haram. They also wanted to do some nasty stuff as well, they just didn't have the power to. So we were both wrong.
