Thank you for providing reasons that India should join the US lead western alliance. Hopefully in 5 years, India will procure most of defense equipment from USA. Maybe India can have a change of mind and wait in line to get f-35 and cancel PAK-FA

We need defence equipment and Chinese have access to Russian tech. so we need to shop some where else.

Not immediately, but will gradually. Its natural for India to side with China's #1 target, which is USA. It just do not make sense for India to buy more weapon from Russia. As Russia is selling similar things to China. Any thing that India get from the USA will never reach China's hands.

Are you sure? Because Clinton gave MX missile gyroscopes to China and Cruise missile technology. Also its rumored that neutron bomb technology was given to China by USA(though 'stolen').
