Defence ministry rejects China-made Doppler radar, opts for German make

It would be a good time to reverse engineer it and produce your own if you do not want to use chinese radar in the future.
Reverse engineering an already reversed engineered maal!!:woot:Good proposition!!!
BTW this news made my day. . . . BTW have any of u guy's heard the good new's??The MoD has issued a new directive whereby it would restrict retired army personnel from joining foreign defence firms and acting as their agents in India!!DRDO is going to get a big moral boost I guess??

"After Tatra scam, the Defence Ministry is now mulling over restricting Army officers from joining as consultants with arms traders. In the recent years, a large number of Defence personnel have joined these kinds of firms. The Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces are now realising the problems and are trying to shut the door for the Army officers."

Chinese are known backstabbers..It is not out of their realm of possibility to bug their products..

Even americans are refusing to buy chinese made communication products...

.
Just for ego boosting........... we rejected Chinese tecnology...Yay! Chinese technology is inferior....Yay! We are the best...... Yay!

It would be a good time to reverse engineer it and produce your own if you do not want to use chinese radar in the future.
if they are capable they would have done it long time ago!

what have they been doing all these years after claiming they are generating the best and the most engineers in the world? do they have full employment or insufficient qualified staff?

One should always be realistic. I am new to this forum, but I am not quite sure why there is plenty of hostility against Indians from the Chinese folks. I work with a lot of Chinese folks every single day (my team is mostly composed of Indians., Chinese and a few Europeans and Americans), and I have to say that this attitude is new to me. Maybe its because its the internetz.

Now lets be realistic. China infact turns out more engineers than India does. However, this is not something that both India and China can be proud about. In China, even a polytechnic (or a similar level of education) is called Engineering. An electrician would be called an Engineer. In India, you have lots of "payment quotas", in colleges. The resulting volume of engineers may be huge, but more than 50% of the engineers that both these countries turn out are UNEMPLOYABLE.

I have personally interviewed many Chinese and Indian fresh recruits. While the Indians can speak English better, both Chinese and Indians fail big time when it comes to technical knowledge and quality. If it was upto me, I would advice both of them to do their engineering all over again. In comparison, I have always found Americans to be much better, but less flexible to changes (which is their weakness, our strength).

When it comes to China, the Chinese shouldnt overstate stuff. What China does is manufacture and copy everything for a cheap rate and therefore low quality. There is no innovation. In India we dont reverse engineer, we try to reinvent the wheel and then get stuck because of lack of skilled workforce. Both of these attitudes need introspection. I wouldnt rate China to be better than India in engineering, simply because all the good engineers from both countries, emmigrate. The few that are left behind, can only do so much and even a lot of them go on to work for American corporations.

So from a realistic standpoint - both India and China would probably fall into the same box, when it comes to engineering skills. Just because China can successfully reverse engineer/copy a fighter jet engine, does not give them an edge when it comes to technology, to be fair.

When it comes to engineering the best minds are from the western world, primarily because their educational system is much better, they have more experience and all the bright folks emmigrate for the most part. (from both countries).

Anyone that goes on to troll and trash talk, either India or China, is a moron that needs to pull that stick outta his azz and grow the **** up.

another bigger problem is that:
India officers even don't want choose domestic production of weapons systems, they can't get kickbacks; even at the same level they want to choose abroad one to get more kickbacks; look like tanks, guns,craft..... only buy little Arjun at high press but buy thousands castrated T90.......even one of my friend take a visa to India, he needs pay tip

Even, Defence Ministry directly intervene a small weapon trading at the name "Security" to choose a german make, we all know that "Security" can be a reason for everything, and I don't believe Indian can't make this type Doppler radar, choose China one for the lower price but choose German one?? who knows~~~~~~~~~~~~~
