One thing sticks out here. Everybody in the discussion believes that Indian systems are not indigenous and that the technology was 'given' to us by Russia, US and Israel. Its easier for them to accept that India can produce these systems than to accept that they were developed by India(ns). There was also the comment by Maria Sultan in this discussion saying that the patents are held by other countries. Really? Countries are now patenting strategic defence technologies?
