Declassified: How India Tracked Pakistan’s Development of a Nuclear Device

.
Your nations owes more to A.Q Khan than anyone for your nukes.
There were many other notable contributions by other ppl but AQ Khan took it upon himself and did all the dirty work that had to be done.

.
...what the article doesn't tell you is how they prevented the 'test' from 1981-83 to 1999.:D inspite of full chinese & partial US help
..khala will tell u about this.;)

If not for the one of the idiot PM called Morarji Desai India would have known more about pakistan's nuke program. The stupid guy blurted out the truth to Zia-ul-haq and the mole got liquidated. Pakistan paid back the favor when they helped crush khalistani terrorists.
Only an Indian would take credit for intelligence and information gathered by other foriegn agencies and pass it off as some superhuman bollywood achievement.

Also, what he is calling "declassified" was aired on that BBC panorama program in 1980,
I hope there are more ppl with this kind of mindset in pakistan.

From memory indians declared Pakistan couldn't make nukes we just weren't advanced enough.

Then we tested our weapon and they were like:o::o::o::o::fie::fie::fie::fie::cry::cry::cry::cry:
That's correct assessment and still you cant make nukes. Courtesy china, the day india calls the bluff , India will border Afghanistan.

India tested a crude nuke bomb in 1974 but it was unable to produce a device that could be delivered through any delivery system and for that India tracked Pakistan's nuclear program so that as soon as Pakistan developed a device, India could also make at least one device within a reasonable time.

. . . . .
Do you know how Indian's tracked Pakistani nuclear programme? RAW watched BBC programme 'Project 706' aired on July 1980.

And USA knew perfectly what was going on from late 1970s to 1980s but chose to do nothing. They had a choice. Defeat Soviet Union in Afghanistan with help of Pakistan or give that up and stop Pakistan. You guy's know what choice they made so no point in crying about it now !

Live with it or get a nuclear sandwich ...

And why don't our Indian friends tell us how they made the atom bomb. Did they reinvent the wheel so to speak or did they steal from the Canadians nuclear secrets meant for peaceful uses. Subsequently India got help from Moscow with missiles etc.

Oh wait a minute. Indian's did it all by themselves. Indian nuclear programme is as Indian as the aircraft carrier Admiral Gorshkov (funny sounding Indian name).
