Thanks to rich arab brothers and western ally unkted states and UK we get to try out each cutting edge weapon systems from western countries with in same year of weapon release.

This is very effective to learn and keep up with latest trends in the military world.

China on the other hand is a very valued friend in perspective of russian weapons as it enables Pakistan to do the same as arabs do for western aircraft.

However china itself has become a weapon design super power and soon a hyper power. So things are looking bright for Pakistan defence industries with technology transfers etc.

Actually thanks to the knowledge gained from RSAF F-16s, on 27th Feb Su-30s managed to dodge AMRAAMs and return to their base safely unscathed despite being outnumbered 6:1.

And also failed to fire even a single missile in return at PAF aircraft

Don't forget this important aspect of RSAF training that makes you completely harmless for your enemy even if it is humiliating you in broad day light

AMRAAM was pulled out from grnd as it failed to hit even a piece of wood let alone a jet.
The Mi-17 was not a SAR mission but was coming back from Kupwara after a regular logistics sorties.

And also failed to fire even a single missile in return at PAF aircraft

Don't forget this important aspect of RSAF training that makes you completely harmless for your enemy even if it is humiliating you in broad day light

It is PAF which went back without engaging the 30 reinforcements jets sent by IAF
