Decision for Waziristan operation taken by Army, claims Fazl

Well its such a decisive operation that only airstrikes are being carried out with little or no force movement......100,80,60 terrorists and "important Taliban leaders"being killed and not a single name being identified. On the ground the tribesmen are using Pakistani flags to keep their houses safe from being bombed. So whose providing the targeting for jet bombing when the actions of locals are depicting otherwise.

We must know that this operation must count. Army has deliberately put her repute on stake and a half hearted operation would be devastating for it.
Why do you say no force movement? You have an entire Corps involved in this. There are informants on the ground. Recce teams from the special forces who have a pretty good idea about where the militants are based, those who remain. So I do not think the strikes are going on blindly. People put flags up because the militants find refuge in the homes of people. Its a double edge sword for the hapless people.

Isn't it unconstitutional for the army to invade its own country without government direction?

Wrong. The Army is acting in aid of civil power as mandated by the Constitution. This action is absolutely correct and legal.

You must have been napping for you to know that this operation was sanctioned by no less than the PM of the country and with majority backing in the National Assembly.

Deobandi malwana feeling for ham-maslak terrorist anti-state deobandis in tribal areas.

As stubborn as Nawaz is, and with the talks and delays, its preposterous to think that the PM had no say in it.
