I understand. But it should have been a little better for the muslims as their vote was annulled completely. 30%+ voted for Congress in the last election and less than 10% for BJP and even those that did were Shias-though while I am not saying their vote does not count I can see BJP played divide and rule politics to get Shia votes and telling us how to think like or as a sub caste of Hinduism. As a sunni though I don't have a single family member in Lucknow who voted BJP. The lines on which the voting took place was communal and both muslims and hindus voted communally. Not about development at all.
The Congress is not a Muslim party that you can suggest there was communal voting. Millions of Hindus voted for the Congress, far more than the number of Muslims who did. You have very poor understanding of Indian politics. In both UP & Bihar where Muslims form a substantial voting percentage, the Congress was not an realistic option & the main opponents of the BJP were regional parties. Lucknow has had a tradition of voting BJP even when the BJP fared poorly in the rest of the state & even in the rest of the country. It was Vajpayee's seat after all.

If the country voted purely on a communal basis the BJP would have got 3/4th majority which it didn't.
Obviously. India has mistreated our people. Muslims.
That is your opinion. Many would differ, even more so when they consider how minorities have fared in those parts where Muslims constituted an majority & which became a different country.
This is not to suggest that there is no case to be made for a better deal for many who happen to be Muslim. Like many others in India, they have not always had the easiest of time. The burden of partition & the crippling effect of the complete wiping out of the Muslim middle class because of migration had dealt a severe blow. Making that up is a long term affair with the rise of a new middle class being a slow affair. In many parts of S.India, Muslims have done much better because they didn't lose that many to partition.
If you want to look, you will see plenty of evidence to suggest that there is & was a genuine effort to better the lot of Muslims, within the limits of what is still a poor & developing country. However if you insist on looking at it only through the tinted glasses of your choice, not much that can be said to make you change your viewpoint.
Lets not fool people:
More Than 3 Crore Court Cases Pending Across Country
We all know how long cases take and how many are pending in our courts. If these people would have waited those threatening them would have killed them by the time.
It is a big problem in Pakistan too-these damned pending cases. Though ATC are giving precedence to terrorism related cases.
Yeah, lets not fool people. There is no connection to religion here.
As Azad Deccan Movement alleges judges and lawyers. They also blame the loyal muslims as slaves of india for not raising their voice. But that is going off topic.
Impossible for judges to say it, as for the rest, no idea who said what, nor can the country be responsible for the voices of some idiots even if it were true.
For me both are the same. What BJP did to Muslims Congress did to Sikhs and under their watch Orissa riots occurred too against Christians. As i said justice is the biggest factor. We want the perpetrators in jail. But for muslims the demon is BJP. Sikhs vote for BJP and hate congress. The manners of religion and politics are intricate in the social fabric of the nation. I see that much
Again wrong. Orissa riots were not connected to a congress government at the state, it was regional party at the helm. Those riots happened after the killing of a Hindu godman. Justice in all cases of riots is slow, especially if it happens in rural areas where witnesses tend to split on religious lines. People end up in jail, whether it is Gujarat or Orissa, just that it is a slow, tedious process & not always with a satisfactory outcome.
