What's new

Dear Fawad Khan. It’s time. Go back to Pakistan.

Dear Fawad Khan,

At the outset, let me clarify that I am not singling you out. I am merely addressing this letter to you because you are the most famous Pakistani import to Bollywood todate.

By addressing you, I want to talk to every Pakistani import to Bollywood. This letter could have well been addressed to Adnan Sami, Raahat Fateh Ali Khan, Mahira Khan… the list is endless and keeps increasing every year.

Fawad, I don’t think you can deny how much love we have showered on you over the past few years. We have given you more money in two years than what you could have possibly earned in Pakistan in 10 years. We have given you recognition that you would have never been able to earn sitting in Karachi. We made you act in great movies, we helped you endorse brands. And hey, we also made you a bigger star in Pakistan.

Though you are a supporting male lead in Bollywood movies, you are now a mega superstar in Pakistan.

We are proud of what we have done for you. We know that you have acknowledged it numerous times. You have spoken with gratefulness about the love and hospitality that we have shown to you. Though you keep mum about the money, you have earned here, we know that you are grateful to India for showering you with wealth too. Thank you for acknowledging that.

You are welcome.

I don’t know about others, I used to be very vocal about the fact that culture knows no boundaries and that there should be free exchange of artistes between India and Pakistan. Me and few of my friends supported and patronised the fact that India and Pakistan should collaborate for projects, specially when it comes to cinema. We recognise that cinema is one of the strongest forms of dialogue that can go a long way in forming public opinion across borders which will facilitate the peace process between the neighbours.

Not anymore.

Dear Fawad, whatever we have mentioned earlier is being done by us. India. Your country is doing just the opposite. We talk about dialogues but this is just becoming a monologue of peace from India.

We give you so much love and money, but your country continues to ban our cinema and our artistes.

We drool over you and give you some of our best projects. Your country dreams of creating a Bollywood on their own. We are thinking of collaboration while your country talks of division and isolation.

Our country knows that your country’s television serials are far better than us (in quality that is, we always had more money though) but your country’s government have prevented us from working with you there too.

Your country is mad about Bollywood movies but end up supporting piracy because most of the Bollywood movies are illegally downloaded in Pakistan. Bollywood movie piracy has only grown in Pakistan over the years.

All this never really mattered to us in the past. As I said earlier, we were only concerned about a free and fair cultural exchange no matter what is happening at our borders or how violence is being incited in Kashmir by your government backed Jihadi groups.

The water is flowing over our heads now, Fawad.

We have watched in pain how you have chosen to look away when your country is inflicting pain on us. We are letting you laugh all the way to your bank account in Karachi while our soldiers are bleeding in Uri, Kashmir.

You have chosen to keep quiet about us, our suffering and our death in the hands of your Mujahideen army. While we have given you only love, you have given us silence and that cute, dimpled smile of yours.

Sorry Fawad, cultural exchanges cannot happen over dead bodies of our soldiers. We cannot shake hands with your country when their hands are covered in blood of our own countrymen.

We know that you have a lot of support from Indians who would pamper you in isolation. We don’t blame them as they have invested money on you and wouldn’t want to lose it. We also know that you have yet another Bollywood big release coming up shortly.

Fawad, you lack courage. You lack conviction. You lack the guts to stand up against the Jihadists of your country who think they are serving God by killing us.

Finish what you are doing Fawad and then do us a favour by going back to Pakistan. You see, what you have earned here is enough to last a lifetime. Go when the time is good and don’t wait for people to boycott you. Don’t wait for movies to crash at the box office because you are there in it.

Let’s part as friends, Fawad. It doesn’t matter if you have failed to respond to the favours we have done to you and your colleagues from Pakistan.

We wish you all the best and pray that someday you will have the courage to rise above boundaries and speak for what is right. We wish that someday you will stand with us because you earned your bread on our soil.

Take care and let us know when you are getting your air tickets to Karachi done. We plan to give you a grand farewell.

With deep regards,

Your ardent Indian fan.

All i hear is lots of whining and than some more.

Totally concur with you, I hope they start off with that muppet Ali Zafar.Kudos
You know he can't even act and hasn't given a musical hit in ages, well if you come to think of it, other than that Chanoo song he has only thrived on media hype. I don't think bollywood cares about skills or professionalism it's only catch are looks especially fair complexion which sadly it has to import from Pakistan too. ;)

Shouldn't we write a letter to Fawad Khan that highlights the human rights abuses against the Kashmiri people in Indian occupied Kashmir? Shouldn't Fawad Khan be highlighting these issues in India himself?

That's right Fawad Khan. Now prove to these Indians how loyal you are. They paid you, showered love onto you and bred you for this day where you would stand up and malign Pakistan. They also claim they made you a bigger star inside Pakistan. Like as if you weren't already a big star in Pakistan?

Fawad Khan, you deserve this criticism from the Indians. You knew that this day would come. You knew why Pakistan was created. Our forefathers sacrificed for something important which is called FREEDOM. Yet, in your naivety you chose to go to India. You thought you would be welcomed and that you would mesmerize them with your looks. They used you and now they are also criticizing you. They are expecting something in return for their "love", "money" and "praises". Stay in India and never come back to Pakistan. That applies to other Pakistani actors and singers who are naive and went to India. Pakistan gave you people everything. Fame, money, fortune and so many other things, but it wasn't enough. Now live a happy life in India and never ever show your face in Pakistan. You disgust us.

Dear cr@p writer who wrote this piece of garbage,

I am very embarrassed as an Indian that we have people like you covering our Hindi film industry. Fawad Khan is an actor an artists and he's here to showcase his talent. No doubt that after the uri attack we all Indians are burning with rage and we want the central govt to take actions and ensure that such incidents are never repeated in the future and if we have to go offensive for this and carry out a surgical strike on the terror camps behind the enemy line then be it. However, we also believes that to blame a person for not showing solidarity with what has happened and for which he/she has to go against his own country is not only unfair but is utterly disgusting. They came to India looking for opportunities and we helped them to become the star that they are today but to drag them into politics and blame them for something in which they never had any direct or indirect contribution just shows your mental retardation.
Thank you,
A proud and patriotic Indian.

Pakistan/Pakistanis is our arch-enemy. We will do whatever we can to stop other countries from doing buisness with Pakistan, there's nothing immature about it. Deal with it!!!

Just proves how shameless you are that you can't stay away from a forum of your arch enemies. Beghairati ki inteha hey!

Thnx for being realistic ! This behaviour will only slap India diplomatically and tag as racist!go ahead India :p:

Sports and Entertainers should always be left out of the conflict
Let him work there if he wants , u dont have right to call him back

All Pakistani actors who went there should return imo because their problems are only gonna increase return with respect better than being thrown out. Our film industry after so many years is finally reviving and it would be better if they use their talent and acting skills to support Pakistani film industry.

Dear Bollywood,

I don't think that you can deny the love and support you got from Pakistan. Yes there was a time when only the pirated version of your movies were coming to our side but now our cinemas are all lined up to premier your new releases. Hell our own movies are finding it tough to get a spot in our own cinemas and that is affecting our movie industry. But still our people drool over khans, kapoors and hot beauties that you have to offer.

Ever since the 90's when your state started terrorizing the innocent Kashmiris to the present inhumane behavior of your security forces in Kashmir, you have kept quite about it. Worse you made propaganda movies supporting the injustice of your state and blamed Pakistan for all the evils in your country.

With 85 people martyred, thousands of crippled and hundreds losing their eye-sight for ever, innocent protesters who were just raising their voice for their right to self-determination, and your deafening silence about it, I think the time has come for us to say enough is enough.

When your brutal forces were massacring our brethren in Kashmir in the past two months, your movie Sultan was doing record business in our cinemas. But your Khans, Kapoors and beauties kept silent about the blood that is being spilled in Kashmir.

So now my dear Bollywood, we would like to ask you to pack up and leave. If you can't stand up for what is right and are only good for doing propaganda against our country then we request you to stop making money through our cinemas and our people.

Regards,
Pakistan

He enjoyed his stay, fucked indian women, earned money and come back... win win for him
