Therein lies the source of the problem, we in the NE mostly don't think in terms of Hindus vs Muslims. But you all insist upon the non compatibility, and that those marrying into Muslim households to embrace their religion and way of life. That is a strict no-no for us, let people fall in love and marry across ethnicities and faiths, just don't impose things on one another.

By that logic, Hindu women marrying Muslims is wrong too, and the only way forward for you is for them to embrace Islam. We don't have such dogmas attached to our culture and religion atleast in the NE, but when Hindus elsewhere in India raise such points you cry hoarse. And we are back to square one!
