Don't you think your air force will miss a low cost light fighter when all M2ks will be replaced with Rafales?

Possibly. However if that came to be, the answer would lay in our replacement for
training aircraft ( Alpha jet A.K.A. Gadjet ) being able to do some CAS/strafing, etc.

The potential dilemma you mention is supposed to have been taken into account at
the time of the Rafale program launch as it was planned as the lone fighter for us.
