he Commonwealth Games is now losing its glamour quotient with more stars pulling out of the Games. Two-time European champion long distance runner Mo Farah of England and 800 metres world record holder David Rudisha of Kenya Friday joined the growing list of star athletes skipping the Oct 3-14 Commonwealth Games.

The athletes blame their tight schedules; Farah went on to say she wanted to focus on the 2012 London Olympics.

“I was looking forward to the Commonwealth Games in Delhi but after the success I had this year I am happy to call it a season. I look forward to the 2011 World Championships in Daegu and the 2012 Olympic Games in my home city of London.”

Earlier this year, world’s leading athletes like Usain Bolt, Chris Hoy and Shelly-Ann Fraser pulled out of the event.

Congratulation to Indians for this great news, more elite athletes pull out from the game=more opportunities for Indian athletes to win medals, an issurance not being the host nation with the least medals record holder in CWG history book:cheers: :partay:
