Guys, how much money are you going to make from selling those apartments to the public in the Athletes Villages?

I think I read they're all sold already, but I'd expect there to be huge demand for such accomodation, and an opportunity to claw back some money for the organisers.

Property must be red hot in Delhi, so I can imagine everyone wanting an apartment, and the benefits that will come with it (surrounding infrastructure, roads, etc)

Well , lets just get down to economics
2000 Apartments were Built in the Games village , these are 2 and four Bedroom Apartments with fully Furnished Kitchens , Bedrooms , Sitting area with Wide screen LED TVs
EMAAR MGF , has title to some 1300 of those apartment which they plan to sell for Rs 3 to 4 Crores . In all they hope to raise some 4500 Crores( 1 Billion USD) through sale of these apartment
DDA which owns 700 Apartments in the Games village ,all of them by the way being 2 Bedroom , Has pre sold a large chunk of these Apartments for Rs 1.5 Crores
Most of which being picked up by Kins of Member of OC , senior Bureaucrats and Local MLAs
There were even reports of Delhi govt using 42 of these apartments as accommodation for state legislatures With many of the MLAs demanding these apartments however till now no such decision has been taken .
DDA hopes to make 1200 Crores(270 mMillion USD) through sale of its share of apartments

So u can say that india will gain 1.3 Billion USD THROUGH SALE OF CWG Apartments
