The United States (US) reduced the number of its military personnel in Pakistan following the request of Pakistani Government, a US Defence official said on June 10, reports Daily Times. Chief of the Office of the Defence Representative-Pakistan Vice Admiral Michael Lefever said, We recently received a written request from the Government of Pakistan to reduce the number of US military personnel here, and we have nearly completed that reduction, he said. A senior Pakistani military official said on June 8 that Pakistan Army had sent home 90 US military personnel.
