Gurjara pratihara will likely have the best cavalry with the combined chauhan,parmar,solanki and gujjar rajput cavalry plus camels.Gurjara economy is highly dependant on trade from western ports and less on agriculture[being centred on the deserts of rajasthan] unless they can capture the gangetic basin around kanauj.Jainism flourished in gujarat.Gurjara pratihara should focus on militray excellence over economic.

Rastrakutas overall command most resources,large elephant armies and are most powerful,but they also have many enemies around them and are geographically distant from kanauj-the imperial city..To stop rastrakuta juggernaut one might need diplomacy.Rastrakutas religion should be shaiva/vaishnavite.

Palas should have good infantry,excellent diplomats and good but expensive kamboja mercenary cavalry.Pala economy is prosperous and religion buddhist.The city of kanauj should impart large bonuses to the faction that holds it.
Or perhaps we will see the mighty cholas of rajendra chola and his naval empire.
