i say go first go for longer range cruise missiles and accurate that way we can have the advantage of reaching any point and of course naval version then we can go for hypersonic

But I guess we can use them in some specific targets where we don't need such manuverability......and they won't get intercepted either so easily or impossible to be intercepted by the present day technology.....

Unlike USA and their targets spreading across the world. Pakistan India are neighbours. Even supersonic missiles are enough as the targets are very near on both sides.

Unfortunately we haven't yet tested any supersonic missile. Whereas indian have a fully tested and operational supersonic missile brahmos. Although its range in 290 km but still sufficient to hit prime targets inside Pakistan. A brahmos launched from indian punjab will hardly takes some minutes to reach sialkot or lahore. Very little reaction time to take counter measures.

We need to concentrate in this area as indians are already working on Anti ballistic missile system
