CPEC: Will the US Opposition Matter?

Last year was the start, the beginning, first stage, now ships are docking daily, trucks are rolling daily and CPEC is on the roll. Once the train link is completed at Karokaram with China then the CPEC infrastructure dream is achieved and finalised. The goal is to have a high speed Pak-China trade (train) link.

Stop lying, Only 9 ships made port call in 2017 that too Chinese ships importing machinery for their projects. Exports via gwadar port is nil in 2017.

Why would US oppose CPEC? CPEC is India's problem not US'.

And why it is India's problem ???...........indeed India has problem with every development project in this region which can lead this region to the road of progress....Indian must come out from Dream being solo Supa Pawa of this area and join hands with rising nations like China and Pakistan..

Constitution of India considers AJK & GB to be part of India. There were unanimous resolutions passed in the Parliament of India on the same. No India politician can change that stand and mandate unless the constitution is changed and a new resolution is passed. Since CPEC includes these two areas India would keep opposing it.

US government is not stopping any America company from investing in CPEC, it's just few, if any, have done so.

Its just the start, be patient. It will become the largest port in South Asia in a decade or so.
