CPEC not for Balochistan development: Mengal

The demand of Baloch in Karachi and Punjab to be added in Balochistan census doesn't make census. If you have settled in other areas then you should be counted there. One can always go back and be counted in Balochistan for next census after 10 years. This is standard procedure in rest of the world. Otherwise whats the point of census?

What NFC award did is, they reformulated the way the share of provincial governments used to be calculated so they counted more factors than just population such as the size of the province, poverty etc... if my memory is correct

But this thread is not about the budget of Punjab vs Balochistan or Sindh... its about CPEC and the fact is, Balochistan isn't getting many power projects after the biggest power project tipped to supply electricity across Balochistan is already shelved

As a balochistani i will be happy to see more people migrating from punjab , sindh and kpk to balochistan as it will increase more development in the province . With more educated population from other provinces , there will be more education and development in balochistan . Its stupid to not let other people to enter the province , sardars like alhtar jan has brainwashed the naive people and has made their minds against punjab .

Seriously, you guys surprised? Mengal is a secessionist and always has been. The seperation of Balochistan; which for him means all of Balochistan, Karachi, SW Punjab and most of West Sindh is his reason for being in politics. You could promise him 100 billion USD in the province, agree to impoverish Punjab and he would still say this.

Feudal leaders like him need to be dealt with, but it is only Balochis that can deal with them. Any external attempt will be seen as an "invasion" and making them a "minority".
