Ok bhai bujhesi. Mod decision niye kisu bolte chai na. Tobe mod decision most of time amader against ei zay.

.
Child marriage isn't Bangladeshi material but indian and specifically Hindu material. Gauri Daan is Hindu material not Islamic material.

Marriage is ( not ) a bond of seven birth and wife must die in husband's pyre isn't Bangladeshi culture.

Muslim women are allowed to get divorce from husband if husband if abusive and even if he is impotent!

Ps - Edited my post and cut last part . As will write it again based on your next reply!

I am going to "ignore" this guy.

Waste of time speaking with him, probably a false flagger bhakt.

You are right.

Gaana-bajna there is not really anything religious in it. Singing Shyama Sangeet is fine if you are so inclined.

But making Bangladeshi ministers wear "Uttariyas" (Vedic Brahmin dress) and lighting "diyas" (pilshuj) in official govt. ceremonies (again Vedic superstitious tradition) is going too far.

We should be a modern country, not aping two thousand year old Indian religious traditions that only 10% or less of our population follows. That too being a majority Muslim country. Indians can do it in their country, that's fine. But not in Bangladesh.

Me talking about this is not even the main thing.

What these Sanghi-shill fifth columnist Hindu idiots in Bangladesh forget that - there is always a backlash against these things in Bangladesh. Hindus themselves will be targeted in untoward incidents if they exceed cultural 'limits'. Suit yourselves.

Take it too far and see what happens.

We should go easy with this "Islam this, Hinduism that" crap.
BD is not a theocratic, communal hellhole unlike its neighbours.
We are a separate country for a reason.

To each his own. Moral standards vary from person to person. Some get triggered by hindu symbols or cow slaughter but see nothing wrong with child marriage or widow burning. As long as no one gets forced into doing things, all good.

All subjective, hypocritical standards.

You can't see banned profiles.

You don't get my drift.

I am saying that we should be a modern multicultural country, not an Islamic communal one.

We should not let one group's religious-cultural values (Hindus) impinge on another (Muslims).

If the majority citizens in Bangladesh are Muslim, we can go "as secular" as making govt. functions like initiating new projects "non-religious". Which is what they are now.

I don't think I remember the last time I saw a Moulvi recite a dua in the kickoff of major projects.

However making govt. ministers ape "vedic culture" like "wearing Uttariyas and lighting diyas" smacks of towing "Sanghi line".

Would Indians invite a moulvi to recite a dua at a govt. project kickoff?

You risk a backlash impinging on people's treasured religious feelings and cultural traditions.

That is what will be happening in Bangladesh if we carry on this Chetona BS like we are now.

Wholeheartedly agree @Bilal9 bhai.

And about sanghi , you see sometimes I even don't read the messages of sanghis and their foot soldier fifth columnists ( low born Bangladeshi ; both Hindu and Muslims) , as it's just waste of time, and mind!

But sometimes surely they need to be countered brutally. That's why I don't completely ignore them.

If you let the dogs bark freely , they will later bite you. So they must be countered sometimes!

. . . . . .
The obsession with policing women and their choices is why much of south asia continues to be the world's laughing stock. Not sure how you live in Japan and have such a backward mindset you talk about countries industrializing when a lot of it had to with allowing women to work and not be delegated to house work alongside that comes women choosing to do what they want.
You are making a mistake. No one is criticizing Pori Moni for the color of her panty or nightdress when she sleeps in her private room. Or even if she is full naked.

But people have the right to praise or criticize her if she loves to show off her private parts in public that amounts to vulgarity.

Bhai you are correct. The secular values we project in this country (esp. with women) are far better than the communal ones next door by these cow-belters. There are Hindu fifth-columnist business leaders in Bangladesh who criticize people wearing Hijab, but say nothing about Indians going into extreme Hindu icon mode.

This is Hindutva Satee-Sadhvi icon and bhakt poster-woman Kangna Ranaut in pre-BJP India. See desperate fashion to get roles in movies. She hadn't become so Hindu yet. If you google her, you will see her in much racier outfits (or lack thereof). I don't want to post those here.

Here she is after she became a BJP supporter to save her flagging career (ideal respectable Hindu housewife mode). Who knows, she might join Durga Vahini later. This clown is banned from both Instagram and Twitter for her deliberate lies/tirades against Muslims and siding with bhakts on Covid non-truths and gobar/go-muttar treatments. She is a public propagandist for BJP votes.
