The English translation you wrote is very nice and unfortunately I don't understand Bengali but I know it sounds very nice and gentle when used by decent people. It has a sing-song tonality to it. Google Translate didn't really make me understand the verse in Bengali. I didn't understand the context - who is Phagun and who is Kanan and the general meaning of the verse. Please explain.

Phagun is a "shortened Bengali poetic form" of the month of Falgun. The 1st of Falgun marks the onset of spring in the Bengali Calendar, which ushers many get togethers, cultural/poetic/musical events and festivities, especially for women.

Kanan means garden.

Lot of poetic Bengali is very different from everyday spoken Bengali.

Spoken Bengali in Bangladesh has a lot of Arabic/Persian/Urdu loan words as well as accepted loan words from English, Portuguese and Spanish, owing to trade with those nations back in the middle ages to British times.

Although roughly similar, the same Bengali spoken in Kolkata often do not have those loan words, especially Arabic/Persian/Urdu ones.

So the translation goes roughly like this,

"What you see in myself - It's all your own,
Like the sweetness of the garden, as creation of Fagun (Spring).
It's all your own."

I know it flows much better in Bengali - however you always lose something in translation.

Afsos e kam nai. Plenty of other fish in the sea, and much better looking of course. But yeah - you never forget your first love. They are special.

I've been obsessing over this one for a while. 😍

if she is a big star - than yeah makes you look bad
if she is just a random person than nah - no issues happens every where

only if they weren't kind of fat- they are really pretty- I have seen them in real life ordinary looking are hard to find
- you have to be white skinned, sharp features and curvy or fat - top ones are just curvy not fat

besides many Muslim countries have this culture - In Egypt its probably comparable or even bigger than Pak
here's an Egyptian family throwing a birthday party for their son
It’s a pagan Arab culture to have a woman dance and sing along, originates from worshipping rituals of the pagans but eh well can’t say I hate belly dancing. I love it

বিপাশা হায়াত কে কেমন লাগত আপনার?

( what's your opinion on young Bipasha Hayat) !

Not my type, 0 attraction, maybe because I’ve been seeing her since childhood, so I maybe subconsciously associating her with the older generation.

Social media in BD are highly criticizing Pori Moni for her vulgar way of dancing, very uncultured.

They should get a job
and she should get dance lessons

I don't think it was particularly vulgar she just dint know how to dance- which makes her look stupid
my only critique

and wasn't dancing part of Bengali culture? - give her a saree and actual dance lessons - she'll fit right in

Personally I don't watch commercial Bengali film , hence I didn't know her very well before her arrest ( complex cases behind it , but that's different topic) .

But still I would say that , it's her freedom how she will celebrate her birthday.

No one can judge her ( or anyone ) for her personal matter.

Only uncultured, worthless ( workless too maybe ) , lowlife savage people , poke their dirty nose in someone's personal life, period!

Well she is clueless about how to be classy. She surrounded herself lately with unclassy people and even goondas.

To start with, her own family is from the sticks, Ojo Paraga....narikel tel chule lagaiya beni korto, hotath uitha gesey (kemney apnara bhaloi janen).
