karachi is 5 times larger than singapore and has a population more than 4 times the size why are we not able to emulate them ?

heck even dubai developed so fast I mean i know UAE has oil money and practically slave labour but we have more than 20 times their manpower most of them are south asian construction workers anyway even if we developed just half as much as them it would give us another major world city in pakistan.

Well Balochistan needs cities but generally the theory of setting up new cities is flawed. Cities are a part pf natural buildup. A local economy like a port, a center of land routes etc you just cannot create cities out of thin air. Islamabad as you can see was created as center of Gov. It is generally a service based industry hub and offices, had it not been a capital city, it would have never picked energy.

Could not agree more, but as long as we have these law makers who are all yellow and can make laws for their personal interest, like life time benefits and 10 times increase of remuneration, VVIP protocols, etc etc. Nothing can be changed. Change can only be brought in by that person who is ready to forego his or her deserved right. E.g. Ahmed Nijad of Iran who donated expensive carpets of presidency to orphnages and left the presidency on his scooter to resume is original job as teacher.
It is only then a change will come in.

Such lawlessness is always capricious and condemns Pakistan to keep repeating its mistakes of the past. If the PM has done anything wrong, he must be removed by due and legal process, not by lawless behavior.

Unfortunately, those who can remove him are birds of same feather. Now what is the solution. I mentioned on this forum earlier also that those living outside especially in US have no comprehension of Pakistan dynamics, politics and statesmanship.

We need more provinces for improvement in governance. Punjab should be divided in 8 to 10 provinces.
