Countries by who they see as the greatest threat to world peace

Who really protects world peace? Its number one enemy?

Yeah Indian flag is nowhere

Correct...and the #1 is the USA. :-)

I am aware of that. China is to overtake the number 1 position, eventually, but this is not important. People may perceive you as the No 1 threat to peace while at the same time they may want to send their kids to study there or move there.

That's all about being powerful. Same is correct for any country. People are selfish and they tend to move to the place they perceive to have more opportunities. Hence the whole idea of soft power and countries ganging up against China in SCS is just an ephemeral thing. People can easily develop a love-hate connection.

Yeah Indian flag is nowhere

In Pakistan, US takes the No. 1 seat, apparently. I guess, the No 2 seat would belong to India.

I guess for the US, Iran is not the case, anymore, probably replaced with the flag of China. :)

Statistics can be a funny thing.
For instance it's interesting to see how many expats here have the U.S. flag as their location versus China's. It seems very lopsided towards the U.S.

How interesting. DPRK is not our primary threat, but China? heh.

Iran definitely is not the primary threat. To the pro-Israeli lobby, yes , but to the entire United States? No. Currently, the greatest threat is the collapse of Iraq and the rise of terror groups that ravage Asia and Africa. This is the greatest threat. Even more than say Russia or even China.

This is people's perception and, yes, the media made people really think that Iran was the greatest threat because it was hellbent on acquiring nukes. It may have changed by now. As for ISIS, no matter how real they are, it is still far away from the US. Why would they care?

I guess, for Japan, although DPRK may be seen as the immediate threat, it is still manageable. People seem to think the long haul and consider China a threat for the long term -- and maybe not a military threat but, more than that, an economic one.

Most of the world (the poor ones, at least) however, perceive the US as the No. 1 military threat because they have seen so many invasions and other hostilities in their lifetime -- just past ten something years.

US the # 1 threat in the world
US & Canada sees Mexico as a threat?
Russia & India surprisingly not a major threat
Pakistan beats India
Only Japan, Philippines & Vietnam sees China as a threat.

What a crazy world we live in.....

In the case of US, it is more on the illegal immigrants that "jump" over to US borders as well as the violent Mexican drug cartels. Not sure on Canada's issue with Mexico though

Funny thing is "We-don't-care-about-Pakistan" Indians are the one (with worlds 15% population) who have pushed Pakistan to 2nd position.

Whereas, China the largest country in the world doesn't give a tiny rats a$$ about india and does not consider it a threat. Ironic!
